Parks Administration Building for Alexander Elementary and on Jan. 15 at Stocking Elementary Gymnasium to gather input on repurposing shuttered schools, with noon and 6 p.m. sessions and snacks provided (with interpretation available). GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ East Grand Rapids will use a $500,000 grant from the Michigan DNR (matched by an equal city investment) to start phase two upgrades at Waterfront Park. Community input sessions in 2026 will guide plans for accessible trails, woodland restoration, and educational spaces. FOX 17
