- ➤ RiverTown Crossings in Grandville is shifting its focus from retail to community by investing in renovations including a $5.8m upgrade to Celebration Cinema and adding Oscar's Restaurant and Bar (open to all visitors), with work set to finish by April. FOX 17
- ➤ La Colombe Coffee Roasters was approved for a $479M expansion that will more than double its 40,000 sqft facility at Norton Shores and add about 54,821 sqft and 100 jobs. Construction will begin soon—boosting local production and distribution. MLive
- ➤ Tex-Mex restaurant Asada in Eastown will close its doors on Sunday, Jan. 25, after six years of service, with owner Steven Martinez citing unsustainable costs amid changing consumer habits. - ➤ Lake-effect snow and strong winds are causing hazardous travel in West Michigan today and into early Thursday. Counties near Lake Michigan could see up to 9 inches of snow as gusts reach (45 mph), prompting travel advisories and rapid road condition changes. ABC 13

- ➤ Interurban Transit Authority director Becky Carten-Crandell offered to personally fund the $5 per ride cost for seniors and disabled riders in Laketown Township after the board failed to approve funding measures on Wednesday night.
