- ➤ Grand Rapids Parks and Recreation unveiled the MLK Community Center at 900 Fuller Avenue SW, a 25,000sqft space in King Park that will open on Feb. 21 with teen programs and an event from 2 to 5 p.m.; the building was rotated 20+ percent to protect a 100-year-old heritage tree. ABC 13
- ➤ Residents in Dorr Township worry about a potential Microsoft data center that could convert farmland purchased in 2024 and disrupt local wells and quiet living. A public workshop is set for Thursday from 7-9 p.m. to address their concerns. FOX 17

- ➤ Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. is developing a public art plan to add sculptures, murals and interactive installations to the 10-mile Grand River Greenway between Riverside and Millennium parks. The early-stage project will guide community efforts as sections open later this year. MLive
