- ➤ A new Taco Bell opened Monday, Feb. 23 at 43 Applewood Dr. NW in Sparta under Border Foods, which runs 64 locations statewide. The restaurant offers the first 50 customers four free tacos each week for a year. MLive

- ➤ Cascade Township residents weigh whether to connect to municipal water amid ongoing PFAS sampling in the Aspenwood Drive area—officials say connection fees, installation costs and potential funding differ, while Grand Rapids utilities report that routine water testing shows levels within state standards. - ➤ Grand Rapids city commissioners approved a $14.56M contract to restore the Grand River rapids with Taplin Group LLC as part of the Grand River Revitalization Project. Phase One will replace four dams and close Ah-Nab-Awen Park in spring + Phase Two targets the 6th Street dam. FOX 17
- ➤ Grand Rapids is preparing for a parking crunch ahead of the new amphitheater opening in May — eight events are planned as the city will implement lane closures, an Access Guide for alternative parking and additional traffic officers to manage downtown congestion. FOX 17
