- ➤ The Grand Rapids YMCA is calling for donations ahead of its annual White Elephant Sale on April 24 and 25 at the former Art Van Furniture location in Comstock Park (proceeds will fund Camp Manitou-Lin). FOX 17

- ➤ Comedy icon Jerry Seinfeld will perform at Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids on Saturday, Aug. 8 at 8:15 p.m. Tickets go on sale later this week with local pre-sale on Wednesday at 10 a.m. and general release on Friday. ABC 13
- ➤ TLC, Salt-N-Pepa and En Vogue will perform at Acrisure Amphitheater on Sept. 3 at 7:30 p.m. as part of the It’s Iconic tour, with presales starting today and public tickets available on Thursday, Mar. 26 at 10 a.m. ABC 13

- ➤ AAA reported Michigan gas prices for regular unleaded have reached $3.92 per gallon—a 33-cent jump from last week and the highest since summer 2023—while drivers in Grand Rapids and West Michigan now face about $59 for a full 15 gallon tank. ABC 13
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Grand Rapids Public Schools installed stop-arm cameras on 135 buses (with BusPatrol) to catch drivers who illegally pass stopped school buses. The five-week warning period began the week of Mar. 23 and enforcement will start Apr. 27 with ticket revenue partly funding the program. FOX 17
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Grand Rapids secured $11 million in federal funding from the USDA to restore the Grand River by removing four dams and adding rock features; work begins in July and will take two years + it will improve habitat for aquatic wildlife and boaters’ safety. FOX 17
