- ➤ Aquinas College hosts a free Disability Advocacy Awareness event today at the Alksnis Recreation Building - 1580 E. Fulton, where local groups will offer disability resources, services, and volunteer opportunities for both children and adults. MLive
- ➤ Betty Kellenberger, an 80-year-old hiker who set an Appalachian Trail record in 2025, is now hiking the North Country Trail with one-quarter in Michigan & she plans to explore trails in Europe this summer. She urges her community to keep moving and enjoy nature. ABC 13
- ➤ Guiding Light will serve a free Easter dinner to anyone in need on March 29 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at 255 S. Division Ave (Heartside neighborhood) in Grand Rapids, offering a traditional ham dinner with sides and dessert that requires no reservation. MLive

- ➤ Grandville Public Schools selected longtime leader John Philo as superintendent after community input at Tuesday's board meeting; he will begin his new role July 1 (district officials expect his insider experience to guide a smooth transition). FOX 17
- ➤ Registration is open for free summer camps for children ages 6 to 12 at Garfield Park, MLK Park and Roosevelt Park from June 15 to August 14.
