EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ A Holland nonprofit is teaming with more than 182 clinics, including Trinity Health in downtown Grand Rapids, to give free books at well-child visits and boost early reading skills. Ready for School is hosting a book drive in Holland and Zeeland until the end of March (local partners include several community businesses). FOX 17
- ➤ Calvin University students will build, test and operate a CubeSat as part of a new initiative funded by alumnus Michael VanWoerkom and his wife (supporting real world aerospace training). - ➤ Teacher Kera Reterstoff from Ravenna High School received a $5,000 prize from Honored for her innovative agriscience class, as nominated by her student Kodi Hackenberg.
