- ➤ Kate Veneklase of Taste of GR will start Tuesday strolling dinners in Grand Rapids, where people take a walking food tour with stops for appetizers, entrees and desserts—each tour lasts over two hours and covers 0.7 miles in uptown or downtown. The tour costs 65 dollars and includes local art history while plans for future custom tours are expected later this year. MLive
- ➤ The Grand Rapids Lantern Festival is running at John Ball Zoo, where thousands of visitors are taking a one-mile tour of handcrafted Asian lantern displays — including glowing dragons, butterflies and flowers — that offer a new way to see the zoo after dark.
