- ➤ Kate Veneklase of Taste of GR will start Tuesday strolling dinners in Grand Rapids, where people take a walking food tour with stops for appetizers, entrees and desserts—each tour lasts over two hours and covers 0.7 miles in uptown or downtown. - ➤ The Grand Rapids Lantern Festival is running at John Ball Zoo, where thousands of visitors are taking a one-mile tour of handcrafted Asian lantern displays — including glowing dragons, butterflies and flowers — that offer a new way to see the zoo after dark.
