- ➤ Four West Michigan communities will receive part of an $8.1 million award from EGLE’s Renewables Ready Communities Awards for solar energy projects. - ➤ State Sen. Dayna Polehanki introduced Senate Bill 202 Tuesday in the Michigan Senate to make a swatting call a four-year felony if done to provoke an emergency response — the bill imposes harsher penalties when a false report causes injury, serious harm or death.
