- ➤ Keith Decelous-Leon Tett Jr. — a fourth-time habitual offender — claimed he acted in self-defense after Montaness Lowe punched him in the head on May 23 outside Billy’s Lounge on Wealthy St. SE, resulting in Lowe being fatally shot; he was arraigned on murder and firearm charges on June 4 and will remain in jail until his next court appearance on June 17. - ➤ Susan Kacsits, 61, admitted to forging the preschool director’s signature and embezzling over $200,000 from Saint Peter’s Lutheran Preschool and was sentenced on June 4 to a minimum of 1 1/2 years in prison — she expressed remorse and said she planned to repay the funds. MLive
