- ➤ General Motors announced Tuesday a plan to invest $4 billion over the next two years in U.S. plants to boost production of both gas-powered and electric vehicles. - ➤ Police say a man was shot at a car meetup on June 1 in the parking lot of The Shops at Centerpoint near 28th Street and East Beltline before 3 a.m.—they released images of a person of interest wearing a white t-shirt and black hat and ask anyone who recognizes him to contact GRPD. ABC 13
