- ➤ Over 30 volunteers from Joseph's Builders (sponsored by St. Michael's Catholic Church) will repair an elderly widow's damaged home (she cares for her special-needs adult son) in Muskegon from July 5-12 by replacing the roof, fixing water damage, and making the home safer. The mission will also expand to assist other fixed-income homeowners in West Michigan. MLive
- ➤ Mel Trotter Ministries today launched its Code Red relief effort to support the homeless during a heatwave expected to push temperatures above 90, with its chapel opening as a cooling center for up to 500 people. The ministry will use vans and trucks to transport individuals and deliver water, sandwiches—and wet cloths to help keep them cool during the hot weekend. FOX 17
