- ➤ Officers responded Saturday morning at about 10:40 a.m. near Diamond Avenue NE and Malta Street NE to a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle— the motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital before he died, and the driver remained at the scene— as the Traffic Unit investigated the incident. - ➤ Two men died in separate car crashes last night—one in Kalamazoo when officers pulled a 24-year-old driver from a burning car and one in Ottawa County when a 25-year-old was found pinned in his vehicle as both incidents are under investigation with alcohol suspected in the Kalamazoo crash.
