- ➤ The Grand Rapids Santa Parade was held downtown Saturday night, November 22, and featured a former Detroit Lions as its grand marshal — the event also highlighted festive displays with corgis that delighted local residents. WOOD TV
- ➤ Santa arrived in downtown Grand Rapids to kick off the holiday season as tens of thousands gathered along dry streets— the parade ended with the lighting of the Christmas tree at Rosa Parks Circle. FOX 17

- ➤ Los Mariscos de Pancho will start serving its Mexican seafood and birria tacos at City Built Brewing’s kitchen in downtown Grand Rapids on Dec. 9—replacing the brewery’s in-house menu. The new partnership will offer a full dining option while City Built continues to provide separate drink services, and the original restaurant on Leonard Street will remain open. MLive
- ➤ Bryan Ulbrich, owner of Left Foot Charley, said Michigan wineries face challenges from changing tastes and environmental pressures like Japanese beetles — which now appear every year. Ford International Airport is expecting over 153,000 holiday travelers—a 5% increase from last year—with peak travel already underway and the busiest departure set for Monday, November 24.
