- ➤ Matthew Rodriguez from Zeeland has launched an action figure line based on his comic series Defenders of Eden after a successful Kickstarter raised just under $150,000—he shipped over 4,000 figures in Michigan, the U.S., and abroad. He plans to release new waves with additional characters and offers the figures online and at local comic shops. FOX 17

- ➤ A system snowstorm dumped 6 to 10 inches of snow over Thanksgiving weekend—confirmed reports showed some areas received more, causing church closures, airport delays and slow traffic. - ➤ Construction is underway on a new 10-acre dog park at Wahlfield Park in Alpine Township that will feature a one-acre area for small dogs, a two-acre activity field, and a pond with a dog beach. Since launching in July, the mobile clinic has treated about 10 patients per day and will address conditions like high blood pressure and wounds using a $500,000 federal grant, city support, and private donations—building trust in the community.
