- ➤ Wealthy Theatre, a historic venue at 1130 Wealthy St. SE, began as a World War I aircraft warehouse and evolved through major renovations to serve as a community performing arts center and media hub. It now hosts movies, live music, and events with modern digital sound and lighting systems. MLive
- ➤ Irish Off Ionia returned to Calder Plaza yesterday with a new layout — featuring double drink tents and double stages — and offered live music and Irish performances from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Organizers planned improvements after learning from last year's event to give more space for guests. REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ A proposed development in Grand Rapids Township will build 31 ranch-style homes on 12 acres at 1157 Medical Park Drive SE with prices starting at about $900K. The project is under review & construction is planned to begin this fall, with first homes ready in about a year. MLive
